The people behind Retire in Chiang Mai are locals, both Thai and Expats, who all share a genuine love for this great city. Our purpose is to act as a bridge between Thai and Expats to promote projects with cooperation between Chiang Mai Friends Group and other organizations or groups. We actively encourage people of all nations to retire in Chiang Mai, whilst helping them to integrate into the local community. The history and culture of Chiang Mai have both been well documented in many publications and on many websites, but the Retire in Chiang Mai team are hoping to do this in a more personal and friendly manner. We hope you gain knowledge and information from this site but also, and most importantly, we hope you will feel the warmth the city gives off to people and you decide to come and live here yourself.
Sincere Regards,
Chiang Mai Friends Group
